Connections is another way of naming a friend on the site. If you see a comment or someone with the same health issue, you can request a connection so you can share information, direct message, etc.

A great way to connect with other users is by leaving comments relating to your experience with specific providers, various health issues and services, and so on. Through this communication, you can gain from others’ experiences and hopefully make better choices as a result. Utilizing this interactive portion of the website is a great way to learn more about the services and providers pertinent to your healthcare.

There are two key ways to connect with other users. To add a connection, click on their user name or user icon. This will take you to their profile. Then, under their user icon, you can either choose “Add to your connections” or “Send private message.” In addition, when viewing various providers, health issues, services, insurances, or prescriptions, you can make public comments, ask questions, or respond to others’ comments. Through this communication, we hope that both you and other change: healthcare users benefit and have a better experience navigating the healthcare system.
