F.A.Q. Categories > Prescription Profiles

While we have a lot of information about prescriptions, what they cost, interactions with other meds or food and their generics (if available), we do not sell them from this site, nor are we a manufacturer.
Ultimately, your doctor will have to approve any generic equivalents over a brand name prescription. Your doctor may have written the prescription so that the pharmacist can supply you with the generic alternative when available. If not, your pharmacist may call the doctor’s office on your behalf and request the switch.
Consult the change:healthcare online prescription finder and look at the brand name profile. You may already be prescribed a generic. You can also ask your pharmacist and your doctor.
We currently do not support this capability because prescription information may be tied to medical expense info such as a bill, prescription record or EOB. We are looking to add new functionality that will allow users to delete prescriptions that are not connected to medical expense information within the system. In the meantime, you can click on each individual drug in the "Manage" tab under My Prescriptions. This will allow you to edit your settings. If you mark your drug as private or click on "Hide it" no one will be able to see this information except for you (this should be the default settings).
If you find there is cost info missing for drugs on the website, feel free to contact us and we will look into the issue as soon as time allows. If we find that we are in fact missing any drug costs, we will correct the error as quickly as possible. Remember, we always appreciate your feedback!
